In Honor Of One Just Lost
PAULA
She never asked much, just a pat on the head, food in her dish and a walk.
Never complained about anything I did. Never hollered at me cause I forgot to feed her on time.
She talked to me when I would come home and it was time to feed her or take her for a walk. She had her own way of telling me. :)
Her sad eyes could melt your heart, but her smile could bring joy to your heart.
She was faithful to the end.
Well, she is gone now from this earth to a better place I am sure. It was among one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life to take her to the vet and ask them to put her to sleep.
She had arthritis, and other problems, and although she didn't complain, I could see the look of pain on her face and in her eyes. A very, very sad day for me.
She was 16 years old, 93.6 lbs, Lab/setter mix. I will truly miss her.

Paula was a mother to all creatures of a farm (except for the bugs and varmin), this pic is of a camera shy sheep that Paula helped raise.
She helped in raising chickens, rabbits, pigs, goats, horses, etc. Multi-talented she was as a mother to them all.
